A beautiful sea area is located 7.7 km. approximately east of Euxinoupolis and is a settlement with approximately 50 residents. It is called Ai-Yannis or Tsigkeli and has a fishing shelter, a campsite, a tavern, and a café. It is also known as the beach of Efxeinoupoli.

The area has been inhabited since the Roman and Byzantine periods, as the second (seaside) settlement of Almyros existed here during that time.

Today, the Municipality of Almyros is making efforts to create a port in the area, where all the activities of the Volos port can be relocated.
