A settlement of the Municipality of Almyros, located at the western edge of the Magnesia Prefecture, on the border of Magnesia with the Larissa Prefecture, as well as on the border of the Municipality of Almyros with the Municipality of Farsala.

It is situated at the foothills of Mount Othrys, at an altitude of 340 meters, and according to the 2001 census, it had 14 inhabitants. It is 21.7 km away from the town of Almyros.

In the area of Zarkadochori, there is a designated forest of large extent (since 1983).
