The settlement of Pigadi is the port of Pteleos. It is a lively center of the area, offering all modern amenities, shops, hotels, restaurants with fresh fish and many appetizers, as well as nightlife with bars and discos. In Pigadi (and the surrounding settlements), there are numerous accommodation options (hotels, rooms for rent, traditional inns, traditional mansions, etc.) to serve visitors. The picturesque harbor, fishing boats, and charming taverns make it a popular attraction for visitors.

In the wider area of coastal Pteleos are the settlements of Agia Marina and Lefki, on the Pagasetic Gulf, which harmoniously combine the charm of unspoiled nature with modern amenities and beautiful beaches. Between these settlements and Pigadi lies the settlement of Karavotsaki. In total, Pigadi and the surrounding settlements had 138 inhabitants according to the 2001 census.
