Right next to the town of Sourpi is Agia Triada, a Local Community of the Municipality of Almyros, known for its picturesque church. According to the 2001 census, the village had 338 inhabitants.
It is located in the center of the plain of Sourpi, the ancient Athamantion Plain. When the village was founded in 1864, it was called Kalyvia Sourpis, and later, in 1905, it was renamed Agia Triada after the village’s church of the same name.
