Folklore Museum of Livestock Life of Anavra

The Folklore Museum of Livestock Life of Anavra, Magnesia, was a dream for the village residents that has now become a reality. It is now housed in its own space on the lower level of the kindergarten building.

As a purely livestock-rearing village, Anavra was the ideal place for such a museum. In a large single hall, objects painstakingly collected and preserved by the curators are displayed, showcasing the culture, customs, and way of life of the village’s herding residents over time.

The Museum is ready to welcome visitors, students, and educators, who have the opportunity to combine their visit with a full tour of the village’s other attractions, such as the Cultural and Environmental Park, among others.
