Since 1989, the Association has established a Folklore Museum in the Kouri forest, which has been visited by many people. The Museum is housed in a wooden building provided by the Municipality of Almyros. This initiative was supported by the Association’s members and friends, who donated family heirlooms (costumes, handicrafts, ornaments) that are now rare. The Museum attracts many visitors, especially students.
The supervision and guided tours of the Museum are conducted by Mr. Anastasios Bardas. The Association’s Museum was also featured in a television program on the state channel ERT 3. It operates annually from April 1st to October 30th.
